Ideal for al fresco dining, the Switch-3 collection lends a crisp and friendly atmosphere to the dining experience. Evoking the feel of an orchard near the sea, various design elements blend together to create a refreshing environment. Beginning with a crisp white background, each item combines a number of complementary features such as cobalt blue leaves, a blue and white checked motif, refreshing clusters of lemon trees, and a bird nesting amongst a stylized floral branch. Saturated washes of green and blue adorn select items with a sponge-like effect adding an attractive detail to this fresh collection. The five interchanging patterns include within the collection are Switch-3, Switch-3 Castell, Switch-3 Cordoba, Switch-3 Corfu, and Switch-3 Costa. Crafted from durable porcelain, the dishes withstand frequent use and are safe in the microwave and dishwasher.

Von Siebenthal – Gstaad

Founded in 1872, this family business is the oldest still existing shop in Gstaad. It is now run by the fourth and fifth generation. In the fire that destroyed half the village in 1898, the house of the von Siebenthal family was completely destroyed. The existing house was re-built in 1899 and commerce started again. Since then, the ancient hardware-store has become one of the leading household and cookshops in Switzerland, its total floorspace amounting to 500m2. Today this family run business has a staff of ten and is run by Gottfried and Katharina von Siebenthal.
